How machines are counted
Each machine the software is activated on takes one seat. When a machine is replaced or retired its seat is freed and becomes available again — from inside the application, or by asking us.
Activating the same machine again, upgrading the software or replacing parts doesn’t use another seat. Reinstalling Windows or renaming the machine makes it a new one — deactivate first, or ask us to free the old seat. How seats are counted
What about air-gapped machines?
The software contacts the licence server when it is activated and periodically afterwards. For organisations whose policy forbids any connection there is a manual route: the application shows a request code, you send it to us, and we send back an activation code, valid for a year, to paste in. Mention it in your request and we will set your licence up that way.
